There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The lab of Frederick Arnold is recruiting motivated individuals to apply for a Postdoc position on our team. Our research focuses on studying novel genetic risk factors and convergent disease mechanisms in neurodegenerative disorders. We are particularly focused on studying amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other diseases characterized by TDP-43 pathology. Strong candidates are expected to have experience with basic molecular/cell biology techniques, as well as with stem cell and/or animal models of disease. Postdocs in the Arnold lab will be encouraged to develop new technical skills (taking advantage of the highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary research environment in the WashU Dept of Genetics), and will further be encouraged to build skills in grant/fellowship writing.
