Baylor university is seeking a short-term postdoctoral researcher for computational research in quantum or molecular computing. The computational researcher will work onsite at Baylor University to perform scientific calculations in support of research projects and proposals under the supervision of the principal investigator, Dr. Enrique Blair. The chosen candidate will be expected to contribute to the authoring of scholarly scientific publications and funding proposals by developing scientific visualizations and written documentation based on the results of scientific work. The researcher will meet regularly with the principal investigator and collaborators. The researcher is also encouraged to propose novel ideas, contribute their expertise in dialogue with collaborators and team members, and provide informal mentorship or advice to graduate and undergraduate researchers.
