There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia seeks a Research Associate to work in the Janes laboratory (Systems bioengineering approaches for cancer and virology) and the Lazzara laboratory (Cell signaling systems biology). This position will focus on developing intracellular models of RNA virus infections in humans and data-driven models of cancer cell signaling within the tumor microenvironment. The primary goal is to advance precision medicine by integrating computational and experimental methodologies to gain deeper insights into disease mechanisms and optimize therapeutic strategies. The applicant will be expected to interact with graduate students, perform computational and theory-guided mathematical modeling, and contribute to publications.
