The Center for Advanced Microbiome Research and Innovation (CAMRI) within the Institute of Genome Sciences (IGS) is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow, to join the laboratory of Jacques Ravel studying the vaginal microbiome’s role in women’s health. Our lab integrates multi-omics microbiome analyses, experimental models, observational cohorts, and clinical trials to uncover the mechanisms by which the vaginal microbiome influences host susceptibility to sexually transmitted infections and likelihood to experience preterm birth, among other adverse health outcomes. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in bioinformatics, molecular microbiology, and/or microbial ecology/evolution to apply.
