About The Position
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts + Sciences at Indiana University, consists of a well-rounded research community with cutting-edge expertise in a wide variety of modern disciplines including analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, and biochemistry. Job Summary: Collaborative postdoctoral research will be conducted on a range of gas-phase chemical systems selected to explore the boundaries between valence-bound, non-valence-bound, and temporary anion states. Studies may be extended to metal oxide cluster systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on the project including maintaining equipment
- Ensure forward progress on data acquisition and manuscript preparation
- Contribute intellectually to the project
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students
