The Position: We are seeking are seeking motivated, qualified applicants for our post-doctoral residency program. The post-doctoral residency is a full year (September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027), full-time (40-hours per week) program. Requirements

  • At least one-year specialized experience in child psychotherapy.
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time effectively.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to get along with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Must be able to work as a team player, in a teamwork environment.
  • Must be enthusiastically committed to the overall well-being of the department and the objectives of the Center.
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D in psychology or Ed.D. program

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts intakes, individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Conducts psychological evaluations.
  • Maintains the necessary community/professional contacts, prepares necessary documents in a timely manner to advance treatment progress as indicated.
  • Participates in in-service training, administrative and supervisory meetings, as needed.
  • Maintains clinical charts and completes all necessary administrative paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Receives clinical supervision as appropriate to the level of experience.
