A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is readily available in the laboratory of Dr. Wendong Huang in Arthur Riggs Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute at City of Hope. You will work on projects related to the molecular mechanisms underlying the aging-related diabetes development using genetically engineered mouse models and multiple omics approaches. You will also need to be familiar with the techniques in gut microbiota and metabolomics analyses. Our research interests include: 1) Liver-gut and microbiota crosstalk as metabolic mediators in regulating both normal physiology and pathogenesis. 2) Development of novel drugs to treat MASH, diabetes, and cancer.
