The Li Lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Tulane University School of Medicine invites applications for two Postdoctoral Fellow positions. These roles are supported by NIAID R01 grants and focus on investigating the role of cGAS-STING innate immune signaling in viral infection and tumorigenesis. The lab aims to uncover the fundamental mechanisms of nuclear cGAS signaling and its influence on host defense, inflammation, and cancer development. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, integrating biochemical, molecular, multi-omics, and mouse genetic models (including conditional knockout and knock-in mice).
