Requirements
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry or closely related field.
- PhD must have been received within the past 3 years

Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in RNA biology, RNA analysis, and RNA diagnostic and medical applications using a wide variety of techniques, such tissue culture, recombinant DNA, biochemical assays, nucleic acid purification and analysis, gel electrophoresis, growth of bacteria, isolation of RNA and DNA, PCR, RT-qPCR, reporter assays, protein expression and purification, in vitro mutagenesis, and RNA sequencing and data analysis.
- Provide instruction, assistance and mentoring to graduate students.
- Write manuscripts and assist in the preparation of reports, abstracts, manuscripts and proposals.
- make presentations at lab meetings, attend lab meetings and other meetings.
