The Radiation Oncology Department at City of Hope National Medical Center (COH) in the great Los Angeles area has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Postdoctoral Fellow with a lot of exposure to clinical practice of radiotherapy physics. The Radiation Oncology Department at City of Hope is the largest Radiation Oncology enterprise in the southern California with more than 25 Linear Accelerators (Linacs) including special designed machines such as MR-guided Linac and PET-guided linac, Varian Ethos with adaptive radiotherapy capabilities. Different imaging simulators are also available within the department including CT, PET/CT and MRI. Research is highly active here. The primary goal of this position is to implement novel MRI and image processing techniques for the application in radiation therapy, including imaging guidance of radiotherapy treatment planning, treatment delivery and assessment of treatment outcomes.
