The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee. Additional Department Summary: Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in NIH-funded research on functional neuroimaging. Our work combines fMRI, EEG/ERP, psychophysiology, eye-tracking, and behavioral methods to investigate the computational and neural mechanisms underlying decision-making and reinforcement learning in smoking behavior. The fellow will receive primary mentorship from Lark Lim, Ph.D. (Lim Lab for Affective Neuroscience and Neuroeconomics; http://www.llann.org) and will collaborate closely with other co-investigators. The position involves participation in all aspects of research, including data collection and analysis, grant writing, manuscript preparation, and dissemination of scientific findings, as well as other research-related duties as assigned.
