We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Suter’s Pulmonary Optical Imaging Laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A Harvard Medical School appointment will be at the postdoctoral rank. The successful candidate will divide their time between the MGH lab and Harvard University’s Center for Nanoscale Systems (CNS), a world-class nanoscale fabrication facility located on the Harvard University campus. The position will involve the design and fabrication of flat optics using lithographic techniques, and the integration of these optics into endoscopic, fiber-based imaging probes. Motivated candidates will ultimately be able to train others on established fabrication processes, resulting in increased opportunity for mentoring and higher-level research and design. Candidates without previous experience in lithographic processing should be strongly motivated and capable of independent learning. The Suter Lab is a well-funded but smaller lab, and candidates who are both versatile and motivated will find significant opportunity for growth and increased responsibility. Interested candidates should send their detailed curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing relevant training and research experience, and the names and contact information of three referees to Dr. David Adams, PhD at [email protected] . Please reference the position you are applying for in the subject line.
