The Buckner lab in the Department of Psychology and Center for Brain Science at Harvard University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Brain and Cognitive Aging. This position, under the guidance of Professor Randy Buckner, focuses on the study of brain aging and its implications for cognitive decline and resilience. The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in a comprehensive research program that emphasizes individualized phenotyping, utilizing a combination of brain imaging, biomarker assessments, and ambulatory behavioral evaluations to monitor brain and cognitive changes over short periods. The research aims to elucidate individual differences in aging trajectories and to devise methods for predicting and monitoring the effects of various interventions. The role will be conducted in-person, leveraging local scanning facilities adjacent to the Buckner Laboratory and the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, ensuring a robust environment for cutting-edge research.
