We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Suter’s Pulmonary Optical Imaging Laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A Harvard Medical School appointment will be at the postdoctoral rank. The successful candidate will work within a highly collaborative research environment focused on the development and use of optical diagnostics for studying the lungs. The position will involve the use of novel optical imaging systems including polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography to assess lung disease. Candidates will be required to conduct preclinical and clinical studies.

  • Conduct preclinical and clinical studies.
  • Use novel optical imaging systems including polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography to assess lung disease.
  • A doctorate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
  • Experience with optics and optical systems.
  • Self-motivated
