The Counseling Center provides direct clinical services including initial evaluations and psychodiagnosis; treatment planning; individual short-term psychotherapy; crisis intervention; group treatment; and referral services. The department also provides outreach and consultation, such as consultation to parents, deans, faculty, and other concerned members of the university community; outreach activities to student support services and organizations; and psychoeducational programming. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment in a busy college mental health clinic. This position is one of three postdoctoral fellowships; fellows will work alongside psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric staff to provide a full range of clinical and outreach services to the Tufts community. In addition to the work outlined above, fellows will receive two (2) hours of individual supervision and one (1) hour of group supervision per week. Fellows will also participate in weekly staff meetings, clinical team meetings, and training seminars.
