This position would support basic research lab efforts of the Laronda Lab in the Fertility & Hormone Preservation & Restoration program. The Laronda Lab seeks to understand mechanisms of human sex development and to translate this knowledge into solutions that support fertility and hormone diagnostic and restorative technologies. This postdoc would support the NIH-funded or intramural funded basic and translational studies in testis tubule development using an organoid or engineered system. The Postdoctoral Associate will design, organize and conduct highly specialized and advanced experiments using established scientific protocols and procedures and, in some cases, designing new protocols; summarize findings and publish results in research journals; assume general responsibility for scientific operations of the laboratory; provide supervision and guidance to junior technicians, students, and researchers.
