About The Position

The Postdoctoral Associate position at Duke University School of Medicine involves conducting advanced research in the Brain Tumor Omics Program under the supervision of Dr. Simon Gregory. The role focuses on utilizing cutting-edge single-cell and spatial profiling techniques to investigate the mechanisms behind the development and progression of gliomas. Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).
• Strong background in single-cell data generation and spatial profiling.
• Experience in developing novel assays and technologies.
• Proficiency in tissue preparation techniques such as cryotomy and staining.
• Competence in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction and spatial in situ sequencing.
• Expertise in analyzing multimodal datasets for glioma characterization.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in research focused on high- and low-grade gliomas.
• Strong interest in developing new approaches and advanced technologies for glioma research.
