The Postdoctoral Associate will work with Dr. Jiang Chen in the Department of Dermatology, Stony Brook University (SUNY – Stony Brook). The incumbent will conduct research and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University. The incumbent is expected to be dedicated, self-motivated, and goal-driven. Research projects are aimed at examining the molecular functions of genes involved in the hedgehog signaling pathway, the extracellular matrix, and cellular differentiation in the context of skin and hair follicle development, aging, and skin cancers. Both in vitro and genetically engineered mouse models will be utilized.
