The Rutgers University Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in Extragalactic Astrophysics. This role involves collaboration with Prof. Kristen McQuinn and her research group, focusing on studies of near-field cosmology and the star formation and chemical evolution histories of nearby galaxies. The successful candidate will take a leading role in analyzing and interpreting UV, optical, and IR imaging of the Small and Large Magellanic Clouds, utilizing data from a 500-orbit, multi-cycle Hubble Space Telescope program known as Scylla.
