About The Position

Baylor University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. This postdoctoral research associate position is in the area of micro/nanoscale device design, fabrication, and characterization. The successful candidate will work as part of a research team focused on developing advanced microsystems for sensing, actuation, and energy conversion applications. A doctoral degree and less than one year of work experience is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative research on the design, fabrication, and testing of micro/nano devices and systems
Perform cleanroom-based microfabrication processes both inside and outside the cleanroom environment
Carry out structural, electrical, and functional characterization of fabricated devices, analyze data, develop models, and contribute to the optimization of device performance
Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at professional conferences
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
