The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be actively involved in projects on optimization, data analytics, and control in power distribution systems, working closely with partners from utility companies and national laboratories, and utilizing real utility data and models to address practical problems. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record, well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and be a strongly motivated researcher who can contribute to challenging research projects that require creativity and initiative. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECpE) offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs that equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in the fields of electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, and cybersecurity engineering. Research in our department focuses on five high-impact, interdisciplinary areas: bioengineering, cyber infrastructure, distributed sensing and decision-making, energy infrastructure, and small-scale technologies.
