About The Position

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the leadership of the Center for Cyclone Civics in establishing a research agenda consistent with its mission to promote civic education, civic engagement, and free speech. Candidates should have an interest in developing a research agenda focused on civics The Center for Cyclone Civics is dedicated to advancing nonpartisan civic education and research on free speech, while addressing long-standing gaps in Americans’ civic literacy and engagement. The mission of the center is implemented through a slate of programming, partnerships, and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or other terminal degree at the time of appointment in Political Science, Sociology, Education, History, Philosophy, Journalism and Mass Communication, or related field
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
