This position serves as the primary support for the Vice President of Post Production/Post Producer at Pixar Animation Studios. The role is integral to the Post Production team, facilitating the day-to-day objectives while also providing essential administrative support. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP to manage various schedules and meetings, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. This includes coordinating dialogue recording sessions for each production, arranging studio teachers for minors, and setting up tests between internal and external studios. The role also involves sending out call sheets and coordinating logistics for on/off-site meetings and department events. In addition to scheduling and coordination, the position requires ensuring proper preparation for meetings and reviews, arranging travel and accommodations for the VP and project-based editorial and music teams, and managing expense reports, invoices, and receipts. The candidate will need to proactively manage the VP's calendar with fluency and accuracy, paying close attention to fluctuating and conflicting schedules. Optimizing departmental records in Google Docs and handling special projects as needed are also key responsibilities. The role demands a high level of discretion, as sensitive information will be regularly handled. The candidate will be expected to successfully organize and manage day-to-day tasks and operations, which may include phone, email, and mail correspondence, shipping, managing contacts and electronic files, and addressing office supply needs and catering for working meals.
