In this role, you'll operate specialized post-printing equipment, inspect and package finished materials, and ensure products meet customer specifications before shipment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of workplace safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to accurately input data into the ERP system.
  • Basic understanding of post-printing equipment operations and material handling processes.
  • Familiarity with job tickets and the ability to interpret specifications.
  • Working knowledge of department procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate post-printing cutting machinery.
  • Accurately record data in labor reporting systems, QA forms, job tickets, and move tags.
  • Transfer products between workstations efficiently and safely.
  • Sustain 5S standards in the designated work area.
  • Actively contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Follow all customer-specific requirements and job specifications.
  • Ensure ability to meet vision requirements including color distinction, with or without correction.
  • Stop production when necessary to address quality concerns; escalate nonconforming products or processes to management.
  • Handle materials and waste in accordance with environmental policies and disposal procedures.
  • Contribute to sustainability by recycling, reducing energy use, and minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Support the Serigraph quality system and utilize SPECS for quality assurance.
  • Inspect/audit product for visual or functional defects in printing, cutting, and lamination.
  • Perform manual post-printing tasks such as popping out parts, hand applications, pulling sealed air, shrink wrapping, and product packaging.
  • Assist in manufacturing tasks including catching, racking, de-racking, and ovening sheets.
  • Sort and separate recyclable materials appropriately.
  • Complete housekeeping tasks including mopping and trash removal.
  • Recommend improvements or changes for future production runs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
