About The Position

As the Post-Harvest Lead, your key objective is to meticulously supervise the trim team, ensuring precision and efficiency in the post-harvest processing of cannabis plants, while collaboratively supporting the overall post-harvest operations at every stage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the trim team, ensuring precise and efficient trimming of cannabis plants.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trimming and post-harvest activities.
• Provide guidance and training to trimmers to maintain consistent quality and productivity.
• Monitor trim quality, track progress, and make adjustments to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized trim area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Post Harvest Manager to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
• Provide clear duties and expectations to the team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Post Harvest Manager promptly.
• Assist the Post-Harvest Manager in overseeing the entire post-harvest process, including drying, curing, and packaging.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Conduct quality control checks on dried and cured cannabis to maintain product excellence.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory management.
• Troubleshoot any issues or challenges during post-harvest operations.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and product quality.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
• Collect post-harvest data accurately and comprehensively.
• Supervise the team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Facilitate the pulling of compliance samples in alignment with SOPs.
• Ensure meticulous cleanliness and organization during all post-harvest processes.
