About The Position

The Post Harvest Associate I is responsible for all aspects of plant processing from post-harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the Curio management team. The Post Harvest Associate I will be trained in the use of equipment for trimming and packaging. Please note: This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances. We recommend that applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities consult with a healthcare professional before applying for this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Must be 21 years old
  • As a condition of employment, all Curio Wellness employees must comply with the State of Maryland requirements which includes providing a copy of your fingerprints in the required format and consenting to an FBI Background Check.

Responsibilities

  • Remove sugar leaves from medical cannabis using shears, scissors, etc.
  • Weigh, package, label, record/track medical cannabis for distribution by hand or using the Green Vault automated packaging machine
  • Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by the Management Team
  • Work in a quick and efficient manner to meet daily goals
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism and service
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ensure daily compliance with policies, including but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure
