About The Position

RH Strategic is recruiting for its Summer 2026 Public Relations Fellowship class. Join our team through an immersive program designed as a pathway to a full-time Communications Coordinator role at our agency. Following the successful completion of the program, fellows will advance into the Communications Coordinator role in September and continue their career at RH Strategic. This program requires an in-office presence of at least three (3) days per week. To be qualified, candidates must reside in the Seattle, WA metro area when the program begins mid-June. RH Strategic’s fellowship program offers post-graduate students and early career professionals an opportunity to launch their careers in public relations and communications while gaining practical agency experience. Fellows work alongside seasoned practitioners, supporting client teams and building core skills consistent with PR agency life. This experience provides exposure to clients across healthcare, technology, workforce & education, cybersecurity, and other world-changing industries. Throughout the program, fellows are embedded within account teams and participate in daily client service activities. The fellowship is intentionally structured as an extended onboarding and evaluation period, emphasizing real work, real expectations, and real feedback. Fellows develop essential workplace and agency skills including prioritization, meeting deadlines, collaboration, attention to detail, and producing high-quality deliverables. Fellows receive coaching from mentors and account teams, participate in structured training workshops, and engage in firm-wide learning opportunities. Requirements

  • Applicants must:
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field (journalism, public relations, marketing, etc.)
  • Have completed at least one internship or fellowship, either through coursework or independently
  • Demonstrate intent to pursue a career in communications
  • Provide a copy of academic transcripts as to advance to the final interview stages and/or receive an offer for employment.
  • This is a full-time role, requiring an in-office presence three (3) days per week.
