About The Position

We are currently accepting applications to fill a one-year , postdoctoral residency position. Circles of Care is a not-for-profit, comprehensive behavioral health care system. The organization includes adults and children inpatient units, outpatient facilities, rehab residential programs, and numerous other programs that serve the Community of Brevard County, FL. Circles of Care inpatient units have approximately 120 beds, including acute mental health, crisis stabilization, chemical detoxification, substance abuse residential, and a children's crisis stabilization program. Circles of Care is accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations, is an approved Medicare and Medicaid provider, and has contracts with numerous managed care organizations. The postdoctoral resident will primarily provide inpatient services in our crisis stabilization inpatient hospitals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervise practicum students, conduct psychological evaluations, and engage in training opportunities. The population served are children, adults, and elderly. The resident will work under the close supervision of a licensed psychologist and report to the director of inpatient clinical operations. This is a one-year position that will meet all of the requirements for a postdoctoral residency necessary for psychologist licensure in the State of Florida. The stipend is $62,000 without benefits or $53,000 with full benefits. Supervision is included.
