IMBHR conducts cutting-edge studies focused on assessment, prediction, and prevention of mood and behavioral disorders in youth, including self-injury. Strengths include expertise in clinical assessment, longitudinal modeling, measurement-based care, and computational approaches to risk prediction. We integrate large epidemiological, clinical, and implementation datasets (e.g., ABCD, LAMS, and EHR-based MBC programs). With mentorship from Dr. Eric Youngstrom and the multidisciplinary team, fellows will lead independent yet collaborative projects aligning shared interests and their own career goals. The position involves conducting research, designing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings under the mentorship of an established RI principal investigator or Senior Research Scientists. The appointment is a maximum of 7 years in length.
