Dr. Deqiang Li's Lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms of cardiovascular development, disease, and regeneration. The research involves using cell and mouse model systems, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and conditional gene knockouts. The lab employs state-of-the-art techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing, AAV, single cell RNA-Seq and ChIP Seq, confocal microscopy, multicolor flow and sorting, surgical models, and ultrasonic and telemetric measurements of cardiovascular function in mice. The position involves conducting research, designing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings under the mentorship of an established RI principal investigator or Senior Research Scientists. The appointment is a maximum of 7 years in length.
