About The Position

The School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar to support research activities on two federally funded USDA Sustainable Agriculture Systems grants. This full‑time, term‑appointed position is based on the Columbus campus (Kottman Hall) with a hybrid work arrangement. Must be Ohio resident to work remotely. The Postdoctoral Scholar will play a key role in designing and implementing research protocols, leading data collection and analysis, producing peer‑reviewed publications, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students contributing to the projects.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., environmental science, natural resources, agriculture, sustainability, or a closely related field)

Responsibilities

  • Design research protocols to support funded project objectives
  • Conduct scoping and/or systematic literature reviews as needed
  • Oversee and participate in data collection activities, including survey administration
  • Analyze qualitative and/or quantitative data and lead manuscript development for publication
  • Mentor and supervise two PhD students and undergraduate researchers supporting project activities
  • Collaborate with faculty investigators and project stakeholders to ensure timely progress on grant deliverables
