About The Position
The Post Doctoral Researcher position at The Ohio State University is designed for individuals seeking specialized research training, education, and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Internal Medicine. The role involves planning, designing, and executing experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab, with a focus on aspects related to autoimmunity. The researcher will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and institutions, identifying and selecting problems to be studied, and developing and troubleshooting new experimental techniques and protocols. Additionally, the position requires participation in research seminars, contributing to manuscript preparation, supporting technical writing, and participating in the preparation of grant applications for extramural funding. The researcher may also be assigned additional duties as needed.
