About The Position
The Hampton University Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences is seeking a post-doctoral researcher in marine mammal genetics to join Dr. Carolina Bonin Lewallen's lab. This position, funded by the NSF, focuses on genomic inferences of adaptation in leopard seals and is set to begin in January 2025 for a duration of 24 months. The researcher will be responsible for data generation and analysis, collaborating with an international team, mentoring students, and supporting laboratory management.
