  • Conducts computational and experimental research on electromagnetic properties of rocks
  • Develops methods for reliable interpretation of electromagnetic measurements in porous media
  • Publishes research papers
  • Interacts with multidisciplinary team members
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Ph.D. in physics, engineering, geophysics, or any geoscience related major received by the time joining UT Austin as postdoctoral researcher. PhD must have been earned within the past three years.
  • Knowledgeable in numerical methods and proficient in at least one computer programming language.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical properties of heterogeneous materials.
  • Experience in experimental work.
  • At least three peer-reviewed publications either published or under review.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and teamwork.
