Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. With a track record of global leadership in bone marrow transplantation, HIV/AIDS prevention, immunotherapy and COVID-19 vaccines, Fred Hutch has earned a reputation as one of the world's leading cancer, infectious disease and biomedical research centers. Fred Hutch operates eight clinical care sites that provide medical oncology, infusion, radiation, proton therapy and related services, and network affiliations with hospitals in five states. Together, our fully integrated research and clinical care teams seek to discover new cures to the world's deadliest diseases and make life beyond cancer a reality. Fred Hutch is in pursuit of becoming an anti-racist organization. We are committed to ensuring that all candidates hired share our commitment to diversity, anti-racism and inclusion. Are you interested in joining a lab focused on cutting-edge CRISPR screening and immuno-oncology? The Li Lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking highly motivated and collaborative postdoctoral fellows to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to advancing cancer research and developing new treatments. Our research integrates functional and clinical genomics to uncover molecular mechanisms driving cancer treatment resistance and accelerate the development of novel therapies. We employ state-of-the-art techniques such as CRISPR screening, next-generation sequencing, and in vivo mouse modeling, with a focus on prostate cancer as a model system. Our lab is part of the Prostate Cancer Program and is located next to the Nelson Lab and the Haffner lab. Postdocs will have opportunities for collaboration and co-mentored with PIs in the program. Postdoctoral fellows will lead independent research projects with direct translational relevance to cancer treatment. We've already established cutting-edge platforms and collected exciting data ready to be explored. Successful candidates will have the chance to lead and be first authors on projects aimed at identifying novel therapeutic targets and developing new combination treatment strategies.
