About The Position

The successful candidate will work closely with faculty from the Baker School and multiple departments. Candidates who have developed cross-disciplinary approaches during their graduate studies will find numerous, unique opportunities to engage in research programs at the leading edge of energy and environmental economics. The position is a 24-month appointment starting in the fall of 2026.

Requirements

• Education: PhD in Economics or closely related field
• Experience: Research in energy economics
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Statistical inference

• Education: PhD in economics earned in the last two years
• Experience: Research fields in electric power markets

Responsibilities

• Work on several sponsored projects related to renewable energy and electricity markets
• Collaborate closely with faculty from the Baker School and the Departments of Economics, Civil Engineering, and Agricultural and Resource Economics
• Engage in research programs at the leading edge of energy and environmental economics
• Apply cross-disciplinary approaches to energy and environmental policy research
