The Zeltner Lab (https://zeltnerlab.uga.edu) at the University of Georgia's Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM) is seeking a creative, motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow to drive a research project supported by a NIH/NINDS grant, focused on employing human pluripotent stem cells to model diseases of the peripheral nervous system. This is a multidisciplinary project with enormous training opportunities in stem cell biology, neuroscience and human disease modeling. This project encompasses multiple collaborations across the US. There are various career development opportunities available to the candidate, including a potential biotech start-up co-appointment. The start date is flexible but aimed at summer 2026. The Center for Molecular Medicine is striving to become a leader in biomedical research, with a goal to understand the molecular and cellular basis of human disease and use this information for the development of new therapies, cures and diagnostics.
