Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and creative Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our Future Innovation team in the Parasitology Research department located in Athens, GA. This position is part of the global Boehringer Ingelheim Post-Doctoral Program. Join a robust scientific team to advance state of the art molecular biology tools in endo- and ecto- parasites with the goal of target identification and validation. Work with diverse teams and experts, veterinarians, computational and medicinal chemists, globally and locally to collaborate on priority projects, utilizing expertise in parasite molecular biology to advance new therapeutic and preventative concepts for companion and production animal parasite infection/infestation. Utilize your strong background in molecular biology to bring solutions to novel questions about drug susceptibility/mode-of-action in veterinarian parasites and host-pathogen interactions. Post-Doctoral Fellows are expected to independently conduct research and publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
