About The Position

A Post-Doctoral position is available for a recent Ph.D. graduate in the Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory of Dr. Samrat Roy Choudhury at the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, affiliated with the Department of Pediatric Hematology–Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). The laboratory investigates epigenetic and transcriptional mechanisms of leukemogenesis, leveraging multi-omics approaches, CRISPR-based functional genomics, and in vivo leukemia models to elucidate how chromatin alterations drive gene dysregulation and therapeutic resistance in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (pAML). This position offers an intellectually stimulating research environment with access to state-of-the-art core facilities and opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, scientifically rigorous, and capable of independently designing and executing experiments while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative research team. Qualified candidates eager to advance impactful research in pediatric cancer biology are strongly encouraged to apply!
