Levy Place, Annenberg 23, New York, NY 10029 Name PI or Supervisor: Mon-Wei Yu; [email protected] ; 212-214-2924 Web link to Lab: n/a Web link to Department: https://icahn.mssm.edu/about/departments/medicine/nephrology Administrative Contact: Irene Beaulieu, [email protected] , 212-241-8004 Responsibilities Details of Research Project: The role of PD-1/PD-L1 in kidney resident memory T cell formation and immune checkpoint inhibitor-induced acute kidney injury (ICI-AKI): in this project, we will use various transgenic mice to decipher the role of PD-1/PD-L1 in different immune cell types (T cell and myeloid cell) in Trm biology. The role of DAF/CD55 regulating complement activation in AKI: in this project, we will employ different murine AKI models to understand how complement activation modulate kidney injury. Technical Duties: (include any protocols) Mouse-related work: managing colony, genotyping, collecting urine/cheek blood, drug administration, sacrificing mice for downstream analysis In vitro work: cell culture, qPCR, Western Blotting, and any commonly used techniques in the wet lab Qualifications Educational and other Requirements for the position: MD or PhD Experience Required: previous experience of wet lab and mouse work Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project: publications, grant submission
