The Center for National Security Initiatives (NSI) at CU Boulder is welcoming applications for a hypersonics PostDoctoral Associate, who will support efforts to grow the campus National security-related research enterprise. The hypersonics PostDoctoral Associate is responsible for designing and performing research in advancing the development and application of computational tools for the analysis of various aspects of hypersonic vehicle performance and phenomena including aerothermodynamics, materials, structures, propulsion, signatures, and mission design. The candidate must have a detailed understanding of the current U.S. activities on hypersonics in the national security domain, both in terms of weapons development and approaches to counter hypersonics. The candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills and be comfortable working in a team environment.
