About The Position
The successful applicant will work on establishing the scientific and technological framework for testing the efficacy of deep brain stimulation to improve speech intelligibility in people with dysarthria following stroke. Specifically, you will be responsible for 1) designing and leading the clinical and scientific tests and development of a deep brain stimulation system, 2) coordinating the work with industrial partners, grad students, and clinical collaborators to ensure timely execution of projects tasks, and 3) help with writing and crafting of scientific publications describing the effect in of deep brain stimulation on speech.
Requirements
- The Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Neural Engineering, Neuroscience, Rehabilitation, Statistics, or a related field.
