About The Position

The Post-Doctoral Associate position at the University of Minnesota's College of Pharmacy focuses on conducting research in the fields of immunology, disease modeling, nanotechnology, and organic chemistry. Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a specific area of research is required.
• No prior experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in a related scientific field such as Bioengineering, Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, or Bioinformatics is preferred.
• Strong background in disease modeling, immunology, nanomaterials, or organic chemistry is highly encouraged.
• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research at the interface of material, cell biology, and therapeutic development.
• Identify novel disease-seeking peptides and develop peptide-assisted delivery systems.
• Explore the use of peptide-guided therapeutics in various disease models.
• Supervise pre-doctoral students, undergraduate students, and junior postdocs.
