About The Position

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an intellectually curious and motivated Postdoc to study the tumor microenvironment of genitourinary malignancies, utilizing the latest in single-cell transcriptomic, spatial, and CRISPR technologies. The position offers salary support and technician assistance for the post-doc's research, with the goal of publishing multiple high-impact papers during the post-doctoral training period. The research focuses on understanding how the tumor microenvironment and intratumoral heterogeneity impacts response to treatments in bladder and kidney cancers, with the potential to identify novel therapeutics and enable personalized approaches for patients resistant to standard-of-care chemo and immunotherapies.
