Educating for the Virtues of Attention (EVA) is a grant-funded initiative led by the Director and the Associate Director of the Parr Center and the Director of College Thriving. The Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow position with the Educating for the Virtues of Attention initiative (EVA). EVA aims to foster attentional literacy across UNC's campus: the understanding, practice, and valuing of attention as a vital dimension of learning and of human flourishing. The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a central academic and organizational role in advancing the project's mission to cultivate attentional habits across campus life. The fellow will contribute to the design and delivery of instructor training, faculty development, and campus programming. This is a full-time, 12-month position for two years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding.
