The successful candidate will apply a combination of Drosophila genetics, genomics, and microscopy to study the role of histone PTMs in gene activation, cellular memory, and Polycomb target gene repression. Prior experience in at least one relevant area is highly preferred. The McKay lab is located in the Genome Sciences Building and is affiliated with the UNC Biology and Genetics Departments, as well as the Integrative Program for Biological and Genome Sciences.
