About The Position

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Post-doctoral Research Associate to lead research on developing organ-on-chip platforms for evaluation of antibody drug conjugate pharmacokinetics and safety. This position is under the mentorship of Dr. William Polacheck in the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC and NC State University. The postdoc will be responsible for executing scientific investigations, mentoring students, and contributing to research outputs through publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to execute scientific investigation at an advanced level.
• Expertise in mammalian cell culture with at least five years of experience.
• Experience in computational modeling with MATLAB, python, or equivalent programming language.
• Knowledge of cell biology and physiology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in advanced statistics.
• Familiarity with transport modeling.
• Experience with imaging and biochemical techniques such as PCR or Western blot.
• Experience as a mentor.
