About The Position

The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) is seeking a post-doctoral fellow for its arrhythmia gene therapy lab. This lab is focused on developing and translating novel gene therapies for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where pioneering arrhythmia gene therapies are being developed for clinical testing. Candidates will have the chance to learn about cardiac electrophysiology, molecular biology, and gene transfer techniques, and should possess some experience in these areas.

Requirements

  • MD or PhD or equivalent degree.
  • Prior research experience in relevant fields.
  • Experience in gene therapy, patch clamp, optical mapping, or molecular analysis.
