About The Position

The role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Post Closer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all loan documents post-closing, facilitating the timely delivery of loan packages to investors, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company standards. What you’ll do: Document Review: Thoroughly review all post-closing loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Loan Package Submission: Prepare and deliver final loan packages to investors and other stakeholders within specified timeframes. Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain loan information in the company’s loan processing system. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties regarding post-closing documentation and issues. Issue Resolution: Identify, address, and resolve any discrepancies or issues with post-closing documents to ensure timely and accurate submission. Compliance: Stay updated with changes in mortgage regulations and ensure all post-closing activities comply with federal, state, and company policies. Quality Control: Perform quality control reviews on closed loan files to ensure they meet investor and regulatory guidelines. File Management: Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for all post-closing loan documents. Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to post-closing activities and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage post-closing, loan processing, or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage loan processing, post-closing procedures, and regulatory requirements.
