The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a Post Award Accounting and Compliance Manager (Accountant III) position within the Office of Research. The Post Award Accounting Compliance & Financial Manager ensures adherence to sponsor requirements and university policies, supports financial administration and sponsored program financial management. This position provides oversight, monitoring, and education on compliance for sponsored research to faculty and staff at the University, including developing systems and processes for monitoring and reporting. This role serves a critical function in ensuring that the implementation of restricted gifts and grants do not create exposure to compliance risks. This position supervises the Post Award Financial Accountant and works closely with Sponsored Programs, the Controller’s Office, the Institutional Review Board, and other offices on campus that are part of the research administration ecosystem.
